Vanessa Padgalskas - Ron Anderson

Vanessa graduated from American University in 2007 with a double major in International Studies and Economics. Her studies focused on Russia and the former Yugoslavia with an emphasis on nationalism and ethnic conflict.

Vanessa has interned at the British Embassy in Washington, DC and for the State Department at the US Embassy in London. She is an aspiring writer, and currently freelances for the Dallas edition of the Examiner as the World Travel writer.

In 2005, Vanessa spent six weeks teaching English in Russia and studying Russian. Her love for European affairs shines through her writing. She is excited to join Suite 101.
